What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e. g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience. 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience. 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience. Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect. Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar. Experience with Amazon SES, AWS End User Messaging, or multi-channel communication platforms. Experience with email deliverability, SMS messaging, WhatsApp Business API, or push notification services.
Nice to Have
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience. Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc. ) and their architecture and infrastructure needs. Experience working with end user or developer communities. Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners. Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private. Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics. A background working in a regulated industry such as financial services, healthcare, and public sector is a plus.
What You'll Do.
Provide Technical Thought Leadership for the Communication Developer Services organization.
Advise and deliver strategic outcomes across a wide range of industry sectors and challenging environments.
Act as the security interface with AWS customers and service teams working closely with AWS Sales and Solutions Architect teams.
Design and deliver technical workshops that accelerate technology adoption and customer enablement across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notification channels.
Create comprehensive best practices documentation and implementation guides for multi-channel communication strategies.
Direct AWS Solutions Architects, Sales, and Partner teams across multiple engagements within each customer to drive targeted outcomes and consistent advice and outcomes.
Develop industry leading customer-facing resources based on projected customer needs and current demand.
Develop and maintain personal relationships with key industry personnel and policy makers.
