Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of modules from suppliers to the point of fit on the assembly line.; Optimize both manual and automated material flow processes.; Resolve delivery and quality issues with JIT/JIS suppliers.; Ensure stable and efficient supply chain operations.; Synchronize production schedules with material availability.; Ensure seamless coordination between planning and execution.; Successfully execute JIT/JIS strategies.; Ensure alignment across all departments involved in the end-to-end material flow.; Reduce lead times.; Enhance supplier performance.; Optimize logistics processes from supplier origin to final assembly fit.
Industry & Context.
Excellent problem-solving skills
4-5 days per week in the office, Regular in-person meetings and events, Ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person, Travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on the automotive industry., Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or JIT/JIS process management within the automotive industry., Experience in performing process AUDITs is required., Understanding of Change Management principles, including steering and evaluating Change requests, and their application in automotive environments., Comprehensive knowledge of compliance requirements, including safety, quality, and regulatory standards., Effective communication and teamwork skills., Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-technology environment., Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, driving successful execution of JIT/JIS logistics strategies.
Nice to Have
An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree., automotive industry preferred
What You'll Do.
Plan and develop Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) processes
and equipment to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of modules from suppliers to the point of fit on the assembly line.
Manage and optimize both manual and automated material flow processes
covering the entire path from supplier facilities to dock doors and through internal logistics to the final point of use in production.
Collaborate closely with JIT/JIS suppliers in the automotive industry to resolve delivery and quality issues
ensuring stable and efficient supply chain operations.
Align logistics strategies with product planning to synchronize production schedules with material availability
ensuring seamless coordination between planning and execution.
Drive continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing lead times
enhancing supplier performance
and optimizing logistics processes from supplier origin to final assembly fit.
Manage the awarding of suppliers for equipment.
Coordinate the implementation in line with SOP requirements.
