Do you have experience helping groups understand application architectures and migration approaches, and the skills to launch a project on a trajectory to success? Are you familiar with security best practices for applications, servers, and networks? Do you want to be part of the business development team helping to establish Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a leading technology platform? Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing Public Sector practice. As a Solutions Architect on our team, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers while working with a world class sales and business development team. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practices within the AWS Solution Architect community. You will gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today. Key job responsibilities: - Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions for customers, combining business acumen with deep technical expertise to solve complex, interconnected system challenges - Lead technical discussions and presentations with customer teams, providing best practices guidance and driving consensus on solution designs that meet both technical and business requirements - Develop and deliver technical thought leadership content including white papers, blog posts, reference architectures, and presentations to enable broader AWS adoption - Own the root cause resolution of complex technical problems and serve as a trusted advisor to customers, building relationships with senior leadership to influence long-term technology strategy - Collaborate with internal AWS teams including sales, business development, product, and engineering to gather customer feedback and translate requirements into actionable product enha
