What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years of professional software engineering experience, BS in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience), Deep understanding of system design, distributed architecture, engineering trade-offs, command of the software development lifecycle, design, testing, deployment, observability, Expertise in C#, .NET Core, Proven track record of designing, scaling, versioning RESTful APIs, distributed microservices architectures, experience with relational databases, performance tuning, data modeling, Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud environments, Track record of building and operating high-scale, high-availability transactional systems, Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, Excellent communication skills, High ownership mindset, accountability for system quality, scalability, reliability, Thrives in fast-paced environments
Nice to Have
Experience building and maintaining multi-platform SDKs or shared codebases, Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or Kotlin Native, Mobile development experience on iOS and/or Android, Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular, Familiarity with designing cohesive experiences across web and mobile platforms, Experience working with AWS, cloud-native architectures, Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka), asynchronous architectures, Proficiency with Git, modern CI/CD pipelines, Experience with test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch or DynamoDB, Domain experience in ticketing, inventory management systems, e-commerce platforms
