What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Advanced Linux expertise, Extensive Python development or scripting experience, Network administration, configuration management, and technical troubleshooting, Deep experience with Git-based version control and branching strategies, CI/CD tooling experience, including Jenkins, Containerization and virtualization: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Databases: PostgreSQL (preferred), MySQL or working SQL proficiency required, Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence), Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience, Hands-on experience deploying AI to automate real DevOps workflows, Practical experience with tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar, Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks — LangChain, AutoGen, or equivalents and applied to build orchestration or infrastructure challenges, A builder's instinct: you see where AI can remove friction and you act on it, A strategic, forward-thinking mindset, analytical skills and an exacting attention to detail, The ability to build consensus, communicate clearly, and lead change across cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
Experience in financial markets with working knowledge of order entry or market data protocols, A track record of taking a build practice from reactive to proactive and making it stick
