Java Full Stack engineering background, experience developing Java 8+ applications using SOLID principles, design patterns, and modern microservices architecture with Spring Boot and event-driven patterns, working knowledge of messaging technologies and integration patterns such as Apache Kafka, NATS, etc., understanding of secure coding standards (OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT), good background in cloud-first development and infrastructure-as-code concepts, understanding of Git branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow) and peer review best practices, ability to use engineering quality tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx, etc., to identify and fix code quality issues, experience building unit, service-level, and integration-level tests to ensure comprehensive coverage, understanding of requirement analysis and participates in elaboration, prioritization, and estimation sessions, solid understanding of Agile and modern SDLC practices such as Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD, DevOps, and Quality Engineering, good understanding of engineering principles needed to build and operate mission critical systems, including security, observability, performance, and fault tolerance, understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, containerization, and virtualization concepts, ability to write automation scripts in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl, or Groovy to support repeatable engineering workflows, clear understanding of functional and non-functional testing methods and ability to estimate testing effort appropriately

familiarity with stateful stream processing concepts and foundational understanding of Apache Flink, familiarity with common design patterns including Chain Of Responsibility, Factory, Adapter, Singleton, Composite, Observer, Strategy, and IoC, familiarity with different application patterns (APIs, event-driven services, batch services, web applications, big data) and when to use them
