5+ years of professional experience in Android development, Proficiency in Java/Kotlin, Deep understanding of the Android SDK, Understanding of API design principles, semantic versioning, and building developer-friendly interfaces, Expertise in AIDL, JNI, and Android Services, Experience working with and modifying the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code, Proven experience debugging, analyzing, and resolving complex, system-level issues across the entire Android stack, Experience writing Unit Tests and Integration/UI Tests to ensure robust software quality, Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Proficiency in C++ is a plus, Experience with video conferencing applications, Experience with developing Web applications

You'll be joining a high-energy group at the forefront of designing products that power modern meeting spaces, from huddle rooms to global conference setups. As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will span the full development lifecycle: * Requirements analysis and design. * Implementation, testing, and release of APIs, middleware, and services utilized by video conferencing applications (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet). * Close collaboration with Product, Firmware, and QA teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration. **Your Contribution** * Contribute to software and firmware development and testing for Android systems. * Prototype new, innovative features using the newest Android APIs and SDKs. * Drive the development of new product features by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Firmware, and QA. * Create clear, comprehensive developer documentation, sample applications, and integration guides to facilitate adoption by third-party developers. * Collaborate effectively with local and overseas developers and QA engineers in an Agile environment. * Take ownership of software component implementation, emphasizing quality, test-driven development (TDD), and sound software engineering practices. * Design, develop, and integrate the Android software/application architecture for Logitech products. **Key Qualifications** * 5+ years of professional experience in Android development. * Proficiency in Java/Kotlin. * Proficiency in C++ is a strong plus. * Deep understanding of the Android SDK, including: * * Activity
