Full Job Description
We are looking for a Sr Software Development Manager to lead our Ring Site engineering organization, spanning e-commerce, account platform. This is a senior leadership role where you will own the technical direction, team health, and delivery of the experiences that millions of Ring and Blink customers interact with every day, from signing in and managing their account, to purchasing and managing their subscriptions. In this role, you will lead a multi-team organization of engineers across frontend, backend. You will set the technical vision, drive roadmap prioritization, and make critical decisions on architecture, staffing, and delivery, balancing speed, quality, and operational excellence across a portfolio of interdependent services. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Finance, and business teams across Ring, Blink, and Amazon to align engineering investment with company goals. You will represent your organization at the senior leadership level, influencing strategy and advocating for your customers and your engineers. The right candidate brings a proven track record of leading managers and senior engineers, scaling distributed teams, and delivering complex, high-availability consumer web systems. You thrive in ambiguity, raise the bar on engineering culture, and know how to build trust across organizations.
