What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, 3+ years of software engineering experience, deep expertise in the Rust programming language, familiarity with lower-level languages such as C/C++, knowledge of system and network programming, knowledge of firewalls, knowledge of VPNs, knowledge of protocols, knowledge of TCP/IP, knowledge of UDP, knowledge of DNS, knowledge of QUIC, knowledge of H/3, knowledge of proxies, Familiarity with system concepts, Familiarity with virtual memory, Familiarity with multi-threading, Familiarity with system APIs, familiarity with SLM models, familiarity with LLM models, Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in both networking and system-level contexts
Nice to Have
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, Familiarity with VPN technologies, understanding of security protocols and standards, Experience writing testable, low-complexity code with dependency injection, thorough documentation, Proficiency in additional programming languages like Swift, Proficiency in additional programming languages like Python, comparable direct experience in validating AI-driven products, understanding of model performance metrics, understanding of MLOps principles
