Must Have
BS in Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields, 5-8 years of experience in the development of software for modeling, control and optimization of chemicals, oil & gas, and/or refining processes, background in numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and optimization, Solid computer programming and software development experience, specific experience in C#/. NET, Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills, Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner, English fluency (written and verbal) required
Nice to Have
Master's degree is helpful, PhD preferred, Experience with C++ is a plus
What You'll Do.
design and develop new features
Investigate new and developing modeling and optimization technologies
determine how to leverage these new technologies into our software applications
Provide technical leadership for software development projects related to mathematical modeling and optimization
and support new and existing engineering software applications
Actively contribute to technical and functional design sessions
Provide creative solutions when dealing with technology challenges
Participating in the maintenance and enhancement of the existing code bases
Provide technical support to product management
and customer support on customer activities

As a Senior Software Developer, you will help design and develop new features in collaboration with Product Management and Product Designers. Strong software development knowledge and understanding of modeling and optimization principles are a must for this position.
