We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Arlington, VA, USA As a Senior Security Engineer in the Defensive Security team, you will play a pivotal role in integrating threat intelligence data into our security detections, developing cross-organizational tooling, and providing undifferentiated fraud emulation, detection, and response capabilities. The Corporate Services Security (CPSS) organization is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join it's Defensive Security team. CPSS is responsible for protecting and defending the data and systems of Amazon’s corporate services. Key job responsibilities - Deliver security automation to support security event operations and threat emulation activities - Develop custom tooling supporting fraud detection capabilities - Operationalize raw threat intelligence data to enable informed risk assessments of customer platforms - Partner with other internal teams across the CPSS organization to drive key engineering and business decisions impacting security across our customer's domains - Assist in the improvement of operational excellence for our customer's business and technical teams A day in the life CPSS's Capabilities Team is the team providing cross-functional capabilities that support peer DefSec teams and the larger CPSS organization. We tackle ambitious projects that allow our customers to quickly operationalize raw threat intelligence and operationalize it for use across Amazon.
