The REALM team is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead high-impact technical initiatives at the intersection of platform engineering and agentic AI. You'll build systems that remove developer friction, streamline workflows, and deliver measurable gains in productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence. Think: AI agents that automate incident investigation, LLM-powered knowledge platforms that make tribal knowledge searchable, and intelligent automation that turns days of repetitive work into minutes. Key job responsibilities Technical Leadership & Architecture - Design and architect scalable systems for developer productivity tools, dashboards, and automation platforms used by hundreds of engineers - Lead the technical direction for major features and products within the developer experience portfolio - Drive technical decisions and establish best practices for your team's codebase and infrastructure - Mentor SDE 1s and SDE 2s, conducting design reviews and providing technical guidance - Partner with Principal Engineers to solve complex technical challenges and align on architectural approaches Build High-Impact Products - Create automation solutions that measurably reduce toil and improve developer workflows - Design APIs and frameworks that other teams can leverage to build their own productivity solutions - Ensure your solutions are scalable, maintainable, and operationally excellent Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with development
