What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of 5 years experience working in commercial finance, commercial proposals, product/customer support, aircraft engines or related functions

Nice to Have

Experience in developing, negotiating or managing long term customer service agreements, Prior experience with customer specification review, proposal development, contract development and negotiations, Experience in the development and/or support of digital tools to improve data collection, reporting, and processing of commercial proposals and liabilities, Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects and established project management skills, Ability to influence others, lead change and accomplish goals through collaborative effort in a constantly changing environment to achieve proposal milestones, Technical knowledge of GE Aviation products and services and the environment where they will be used, oral and written communication skills, business acumen, interpersonal and leadership skills, Clear thinker: Simplifying strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed & accuracy based on best available information & communicating priorities clearly & concisely

What You'll Do.

Lead T&M proposal and other transactional activities

Coordinate cross-functional team for proposal formulation

Negotiate to ensure deals deliver shareholder drive competitive pricing

Compile and submit required tender documentation

Influence the development of strategy for broad sales territory

Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices

Make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems

Assess quality of information and ask pertinent questions

Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters

Construct and provide recommendations

Lead functional teams or projects

Team & Collaboration

Close collaboration with sales, product line, legal, and risk teams; Coordination of cross-functional team for the formulation of creative, commercially and technically sound proposals; Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision; Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics; May guide others to consider a different point of view
