What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree with experience selling software, Proven 8 to 10 years of software sales experience or industry experience in a consultative selling role, Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, understanding of the sales cycle and ability to manage complex sales processes, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams, Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, Willingness to travel as needed, Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Industrial, Production, or Petroleum engineering, Experience selling to customers in the Chemical / Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry

Nice to Have

experience for industrial or applications software or selling to Industrial customers within the process industries - Chemical / Energy/Petroleum, Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, advance process control / real time optimization, manufacturing execution systems and planning and scheduling solutions preferred, Process industry knowledge

What You'll Do.

generating revenue growth through the sale of AspenTech software solutions and professional services

manage assigned accounts and opportunities maximizing revenue growth and deepening our relationships with customers

Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota with exceptional forecast predictability

Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development and sales progression/ velocity

Manage day to day sales process

coordinate account meetings

coordinate sales support resources

Provide sales and executive management with account updates

and operational usage of SalesForce. com

Develop and nurture C Level relationships at assigned customers

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Coordinates account resources with representatives from marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development; Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams to achieve customer success; Work as a team leader and member collaboratively on sales engagements involving global account opportunities
