Must Have
Advanced Excel, Experience with data analysis, Experience with statistics techniques, Advanced English
Nice to Have
Degree in math and science (Math, Statistic, Physics, Engineering) or Economy, Knowledge in programing language (preferred Python), SQL
What You'll Do.
Structure and coordinate the regional research function
Support the research team on the improvement of data and analysis related to Mild’s coffee balance sheet
Produce the balance sheets for coffee for the Milds region
Maintenance of hedge matrices tracking the flow of flat price risk from farmer to hedger
Verify the accuracy of cost of production estimates
and model historical time series accordingly
Develop forecast models to predict coffee consumption
production and farmer behavior
Optimize the current process of data maintenance
Propose trading recommendations through analysis of stocks/use
net supply and demand balances etc.
Identify significant correlations between balance sheet movements and relevant price time series
Act as the lead analyst for the Milds complex
Proposal of strategies in view of the supply and demand outlook
Contribution to the debate of proposed strategies
Formulation of conclusions
Review of strategy implementation
