What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical discipline, 5 or more years of progressive real estate development experience, 3 or more years of facilities management experience, Proven track record managing construction or capital project budgets of $50 million or greater, Proficiency with construction scheduling tools and project management software, Demonstrated experience managing General Contractors and subcontractor teams, Working knowledge of building codes, OSHA safety regulations, and jurisdictional permitting processes, Experience managing commissioning and systems turnover for complex industrial facilities
Nice to Have
Experience delivering advanced manufacturing, fulfillment, logistics, or similar high-complexity industrial facilities, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) designation, LEED certification, Prior experience working within Amazon construction safety programs, Familiarity with industrial equipment installation, integration, and commissioning processes, Experience supporting or leading Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) functions
What You'll Do.
Own and manage end-to-end development execution for the
Drive equipment readiness and facility commissioning
Coordinate all trades and stakeholders
Enforce Amazon non-operational guidelines
Manage the General Contractor and all subcontractors
Maintain rigorous schedule adherence
Escalate risks or delays to project leadership
Ensure full compliance with Amazon Construction Safety Conditions
Coordinate with engineering
Integrate facility build-out with equipment installation timelines
Manage project budget
Approve change orders
Track financial variances
Provide accurate cost forecasting
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact
Champion a zero-incident safety culture
Assume the role of site facilities owner
Lead and develop a team of RME engineers
and manage comprehensive preventive maintenance programs
Build and maintain vendor relationships
Manage service contracts and third-party maintenance providers
Drive multi-year capital planning
Develop project pipeline for facility upgrades
Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management
Champion continuous improvement initiatives across facilities and RME
Improve asset reliability
Enhance the work environment

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and equipment teams; Interactions with the GC, inspectors, jurisdictional authorities, and Amazon project leadership; Lead and develop a team of RME engineers and facilities managers
