Must Have
BE in Mechanical Engineering, 4 to 5 years of experience in quality control department from engineering industries, Knowledge of welding, Knowledge of machining processes
Nice to Have
Basic understanding of gauge calibration, Basic understanding of MSA, Basic understanding of FMEA
What You'll Do.
Inspect fabricated supplier parts
Inspect cast/forged supplier parts
Inspect machined supplier parts
Report quality deviations
Communicate deviations to suppliers
Resolve supplier quality issues
Implement corrective actions
Conduct product quality audits
Conduct process quality audits
Inspect supplier locations
Establish inspection protocols
Ensure timely calibration
Support suppliers in process improvement
Maintain ISO 9001 QMS documentation
Perform preliminary inspections
Perform final inspections
Conduct Dye Penetrant testing
Carry out hydrostatic tests
Carry out welding inspections
Perform dimensional inspections
Handle gauges independently
Verify conveyor balancing reports
Conduct in-process inspections
Store conveyors appropriately
Update quality records
Perform visual inspections
Assist machining operators
Update inspection records
Record bowl heat numbers
Create specification sheets
Collect relevant reports
Inspect loose supply items
Maintain traceability records
Verify all test reports
Prepare documentation for customer inspection
Upload documents and photos
Send relevant test documents
Attend customer inspections
Maintain final QA documentation

The role would encompass **Inspection of Fabricated, Cast/Forged, and Machined Supplier Parts at Receipt Inspection** * Report quality deviations in the database and communicate them to suppliers for corrective actions. * Resolve supplier quality issues on the shop floor and ensure adequate corrective actions are implemented. * Conduct product and process quality audits and inspections at supplier locations. * Establish inspection protocols for new service offerings. * Ensure timely calibration of gauges and instruments. * Support suppliers in process improvement initiatives. * Maintain ISO 9001 QMS documentation. **Inspection and Testing Activities** * Perform preliminary and final inspection
