7+ years of experience working within a purchasing department, Understanding of MRP driven procurement (SAP ideally), Able to read and understand technical drawings, Analytical skills, Good knowledge of Microsoft programs, Power BI data extraction and analysis, Excel v-lookup and pivot tables, Process-driven approach, Systems thinking, Ability to solve problems, Make improvements to process with support and in a structured way, Able to use data to inform decisions, Excellent communication and relationship management skills, Ability to project a positive and professional image on behalf of the organization, Always promoting ethical procurement, Take accountability & ownership, Delivers results at pace
What You'll Do.
Supervise purchasing team
Ensure adherence to Standard Work
Manage supplier delivery performance
Update pricing and supplier data in ERP
Manage Purchase Orders
Manage return of defective items
Approve and release POs
Resolve MRP Exception messages
Align PO creation to global contracts
Resolve invoice holds
Drive purchase transaction automation
Optimize lead times and inventory
Collect Vendor Master Data
Contribute to project teams
Supplier qualification activity
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Liaise with internal and external suppliers; Act as liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders; Build collaborative relationships with internal customers, suppliers and global team members
