What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Four-year degree (Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent) in a scientific field business, finance or related field will be considered in conjunction with experience, 8 + years with a bachelor’s degree or 6 years with a masters degree, hands-on experience with development and commercialization of highly technical medical devices, Understanding of Design Controls under US and International Regulations, Excellent knowledge of MS proficient knowledge of program/project management software (e. g. MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, collaboration tools), project management, planning, decision making, negotiating and change management skills, Comfortable with all phases of the project and product lifecycle including idea generation, concept, design, development, V&V testing and manufacturing transfer, Experience in analyzing tradeoffs between product features, customer needs/requirements and cost, Demonstrated ability to synthesize data, set actionable goals and drive metrics and execution, Experience with Business Process Management, Experience with schedule, budget, cost and risk management tracking tools
Nice to Have
MS/MA/MBA is a plus, Ability to work in a dynamic work environment, Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff and consultant resources desired, Certification in project management (PMP, CSM) desired, Proven ability to lead, influence and work well at all levels of an organization and in a cross functional team environment, Seeks, recognizes, and executes creative and simple solutions to resolve complex project routinely steadies the team when leads by example, relationship building, customer focus and facilitation skills

Manage cross-functional development teams
Provide oversight on critical projects
Ensure teams deliver against commitments
Manage the project plan
Identify critical path
Escalate threats to project plan
Update weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
Understand cross-product dependencies
Perform risk analysis
Develop contingency plans
Gather data from functions
Raise prioritization and scheduling tradeoff decisions
Provide regular updates to senior management
Align functional support and input
Ensure Project management processes are followed
Contribute to Project management process optimization
