What You'll Do.
Provides leadership for the development activities of engineering projects
Effectively plans and manages multiple engineering projects
of any size or complexity
for quality development of infrared cameras
and accessory products
Actively manages project milestones

and reports project status using department process
Maintains an active risk tracking and mitigation plan for all aspects of a project including schedule delays
Provides leadership and direction to the engineering staff on the development according to the released Design Control Process
Mentors junior team members
Regular interaction with Product Management to clearly define and control project requirements and changes to the established baseline
Develops a understanding of the business case and requirements critical to the success of the project and product
to include occasional
direct interaction with customers/users
Ability to assess the health of a troubled project of any-size
and generate a recovery project plan
