What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET accredited university, Minimum 10 years process engineering experience in chemical process industry, Skilled in process application of unit development of process flow piping and instrument process equipment specification and process hazard analysis, Hands-on experience in a chemical production unit, Proficient in computer use within a Windows environment, Good interpersonal skills, Ability to work as a team player, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Presentation skills sufficient to communicate thoughts succinctly to management
Nice to Have
Mechanical or Chemical degrees, Civil, Electrical or Construction Management degrees with applicable experience
What You'll Do.
Support the site’s Operations and Maintenance staff
Move assigned projects from concept to successful implementation
within budget and schedule constraints
Utilize in-house and outside resources
Emphasis on EHS and PSM impacts
Preparation of capital estimates
scope documents and schedule data
Outline objective and alternate solutions for assigned concepts
Determine requirements and justification for projects
Review and evaluate various alternates with stakeholders
Define and execute all aspects of projects in a legal
safe and environmentally-responsible manner
Focus on projects related to design
Ensure projects are well defined and appropriately managed
Review technical specifications required for projects
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance
Lead procurement efforts
Specify equipment and components used in process equipment
Ensure deliverables are on time and in compliance
Contribute to team effort
Ensure project implementations and start-ups
Plan and execute projects within budgeted cost and completed within schedule
Manage the execution of engineering design
construction and installation of capital projects
Ensure accurate cost budgeting
forecasting and reporting
Act as a technical resource
