Full Job Description

Amazon's Retail Business Services (RBS) organization is seeking a results-driven Sr. Program Manager to lead Stranded Inventory Optimization across Emerging/Strategic markets. About the Role Amazon's International Emerging Stores (IES) is a strategic priority, targeting growth from $41.4B to $100B+ by 2029. As IES marketplaces scale, stranded inventory — units suppressed, aged, or blocked from customer purchase — represents a significant and growing cost-to-serve challenge across emerging markets (BR, MX, AU, ZA, TR, SG, MENA). RBS's Stranded Inventory Reduction Program (SIRP) has delivered $1.3B+ in FCF savings across mature geographies since 2020. We are now expanding this capability into Emerging markets, where regional complexity (data gaps, unique suppression drivers, marketplace-specific workflows) requires dedicated ownership to adapt proven playbooks and drive measurable cost-out impact. We are looking for a Program Manager to own stranded inventory defect identification, resolution, and upstream alignment across Emerging marketplaces — partnering with country teams, FC operations, and RBS technology to reduce unproductive inventory and unlock working capital. Key job responsibilities Emerging countries Defect Identification: Identify, categorize, and size stranded inventory defects specific to IES marketplaces — including Retail Bossed, Hazmat suppression, image non-compliance, expiry, and overstock/deadwood Country Partnership: Serve as the RBS SIRP point of contact for Emerging country teams, establishing joint goals, shared accountability, and regular review cadences with country leaders Program Execution: Own end-to-end goal delivery for Emerging country stranded inventory reduction, including opportunity sizing, solution implementation, adoption tracking, and COI impact reporting Data Foundation: Work with Data Engineering to identify alternate data sources for Emerging markets (where Hydra/CtSAI datasets are unavailable), validate mappings, and build
