What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Five years of either Senior Production Supervisor and/or engineering experience, working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, DFT, and 6 Sigma, Proficient in the use of personal computers to perform daily work, Familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of programs and MRP systems, Superb communication skills, including written and verbal instruction, Bilingual English/Spanish, Basic knowledge or experience in Packaging, PLC, Thermoforming, Robots
Nice to Have
Experience in the medical device industry, specifically in high-volume manufacturing areas, GBB - highly recommended, SAP and Agile experience
What You'll Do.
Achieve team performance goals for Production
and motivate production personnel
Update and revise Manufacturing Process Instructions
Address line support issues
Work closely with all support departments
and escalate variances
Provide clear expectations and feedback
Write and conduct formal annual performance reviews
and report production performance
and enforce adherence to Quality System
Assist in setting and attaining production goals
Learn and enforce company safety policies
Lead or support Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Support sub-assembly or process outsourcing initiatives
Generate/Review/approve ECOs
Review and disposition discrepant material
Implement corrective actions
Implement project to improve Material Usage
Evaluate designs for manufacturability
Drive Culture Strategy
Work closely with corporate engineering
Support corporate Quality improvement CAPA implementations
Assist engineering with Final Manufacturing Review
Assist budget spending preprocess and execution
Ensure completion of all associate's ISU training
Complete Payroll activities
Execute production plan
Support process validations
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with all support departments to resolve production issues; actively participate in quality improvement initiatives; Work closely with corporate engineering on production line transfer or improvements; Support corporate Quality improvement CAPA implementations
