External job description Amazon Selection and Catalog Systems (ASCS) manages the world's largest e-commerce product catalog infrastructure. Item Data Service (IDS) organization under ASCS is responsible and authority for establishing product identity and attributes which lights up product detail page, supply chain and fulfillment use cases across all marketplaces. The portfolio of services and products we own directly impacts both seller and buyer experiences. Being the world’s largest product catalog with billions of products, and billions of transactions per day the scale our services support is massive. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager Technical to lead strategic cross-organizational product initiatives. The role also involves developing scalable systems that enhance catalog data quality through Large Language Models (LLMs), with implementation across multiple countries and languages. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in our catalog systems while managing complex, cross-functional projects that span multiple teams and organizations Key job responsibilities As a Sr. PMT in this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of software development managers, developers, and Applied Scientists to deliver solutions into production as well as establishing partnerships with other organizations such as Retail/Category businesses, Operations, Selling Partner Services (SPS), Supply Chain and Fulfillment technology to prioritize and translate the business requirements into technical specifications. You will have end to end ownership - from defining the strategy, working with engineering to build the solution, and measuring metrics to monitoring progress across the entire Amazon eCommerce pipeline. You will be the advocate for multitude of products/services owned by the team. You will provide direct visibility to senior leadership on all aspects of your product areas on a regular cadence.
