What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of industry experience in a software development or QA environment, product-based or geospatial consulting companies, understanding of image analysis and remote sensing techniques, Hands-on experience in QA processes, implementing test plans, developing or managing test automation, product certification, Familiarity with GIS concepts, spatial data, geospatial workflows, Basic understanding of machine learning, deep learning, AI Prompt Engineering, Effective project management, time management, organizational skills, Technical writing skills, authoring samples, blog posts, product documentation, Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related fields
Nice to Have
Master's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related fields, knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, Hands-on experience with the ArcGIS suite of products, open-source GIS software, Experience with remote sensing, satellite imagery, multispectral image analysis, Experience designing modern desktop user experiences
