Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional Senior Principal Solutions Architect to lead our Applied and Agentic AI initiatives across Technology Segment customers, including ISV, Enterprise, Sofware & Internet, and Model Providers. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI/ML adoption and drive transformational outcomes for our most strategic customers. As a Senior Principal Solutions Architect, you will be at the forefront of AWS's AI/ML customer strategy, working with AWS technologies including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and emerging agentic AI frameworks. You will partner with executive leadership, product teams, and field organizations to accelerate customer adoption of generative AI and autonomous agent systems. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for AWS Segments agentic strategy, spanning multiple product families and serving thousands of customers • Lead design and evolution of agent-enabled applications and cross-product integrations internally and externally • Work with product teams to define multi-year technical roadmaps aligning with emerging AI/ML technologies • Provide technical oversight across multiple teams • Influence technical decisions through participation in senior leadership forums • Architect solutions combining AI agents, cloud services, and domain-specific APIs Basic Qualifications: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 15+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of enterprise applications • Proven track record of leading large-scale technical initiatives across multiple product lines • Strong background in AI/ML systems and their practical applications in software • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership and shape product strategy • Track record of mentoring and developing senior technical talent • 5+ years working within or adjacent to Software-as-a-Service companies • Working knowledge of software development too
