We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. **As Sr. Principal, Platform Architecture - Teamcenter** , you will be primarily responsible for leading the design, configuration and support of product lifecycle management using the Siemens Polarion & Teamcenter applications. You will enable systems-based design, modeling, development, validation, and transfer to downstream operations that ultimately result in the launch of new medical devices that preserve, protect and restore sight for millions of patients. You will be expected to provide technical direction to the team, and guidance to the customer base on the application of tools and best practice methodology within Alcon R&D, IT, Manufacturing, Quality and many other functions to design and implement solutions that serve to streamline the way we work including but not limited to technical development, validation, technology transfer, and ongoing lifecycle management / support for our products. Success in this role will require direct and indirect leadership of a customer-oriented team with the ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level. The architect will work with the business and/or business facing IT teams to determine optimal design and methods to meet the business needs at Fort Worth, Texas.
