8+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server administration, T-SQL development, backup/recovery strategies, recent versions (2022/2019/2016/2012), high availability, performance tuning, capacity planning, advanced troubleshooting, Azure database environments, automation using PowerShell/Azure CLI, configuration management, database security, compliance (PCI/SOX), Agile/Scrum team experience, Agentic AI fundamentals
Nice to Have
familiarity with PostGreSQL, CosmosDB, Couchbase, experience automating support tasks

You will guide modernization projects such as cloud migration and Azure deployments, collaborating across teams to create scalable solutions for QVC's critical enterprise and digital applications. **Where You 'll Work** This role is **hybrid** and will require you to be onsite in West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. **What You 'll Do** * Install, configure, secure, administer, and monitor SQL Server infrastructure (on-prem and Azure: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). * Provide production support and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation. * Troubleshoot issues, document procedures, and guide Root Cause Analysis and resolutions. * Develop and implement backup, recovery, and database management strategies, including upgrades and patches. * Support Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. * Mentor team members, foster collaboration, and serve as technical lead on projects. * Research and recommend SQL Server/Azure technologies, addressing risks and integrating automation and monitoring tools. **What You 'll Bring** * 8+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server administration, T-SQL development, and backup/recovery strategies, including recent versions (2022/2019/2016/2012). * Expertise in
