Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment, Experience with CAD software, Demonstrated experience with industry CFD software, Experience performing HVAC or thermal system CFD analysis

The Role The Global Engineering Strategy team (GES) is looking for a results-oriented, inventive Senior Mechanical Engineer with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) expertise to drive thermal modelling and cooling system design for new and expanding data centre developments across EMEA. You will lead CFD modelling and analysis for data centre cooling systems, providing simulation-driven insights that inform mechanical design decisions, optimise airflow and thermal performance, and support the delivery of energy-efficient facilities. You will sit within the Design Engineering team of the broader Data Center Engineering (DCE) organisation. You will work with our Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Operations, Commissioning, Pre-Construction, and Environmental/Sustainability teams on design strategy and implementation across the EMEA region, serving as the CFD subject matter expert - providing detailed simulation reports and specifications that shape our engineering strategy for next-g
