6+ years data center design experience, 6+ years industrial engineering experience, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Experience in data center operations, Experience in mission critical facilities

Professional Engineering License, Architectural License, Knowledge of building codes, Experience carrying design concepts, Experience reading construction drawings, Knowledge of critical data center equipment, Experience researching new designs

Amazon Web Services have an immediate opening for a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer based in Mumbai, India. In this role you will drive Mechanical Engineering services design, construction and implementation of enterprise data centers, which meet quality and performance levels across the globe. You will work directly with our Design Engineering Stakeholders, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams within your assigned region in APAC. You will be the Mechanical Engineering representative on behalf of the Data Center Engineering Team responsible for the successful delivery of projects. You will assist in Data Center site selection, planning, development. You will maintain the highest performance standards and utilize innovation to reduce PUE, water consumption, CAPEX and increase efficiency. As an experienced Mechanical Engineer you will evaluate different cooling systems and make a data driven decision about a suitable solution based on our guidelines. You will be an integral part of our work
