You can succinctly and accurately explain what’s moving a stock, significant events in the economy, and material developments in the business world. While you may know a lot about a few companies or sectors, you are able to quickly learn and dive into new coverage areas as retail traders or news cycles shift focus! As an individual contributor on the Sherwood Media team, you will be responsible for covering the daily financial news cycle and delivering both short-form and long-form content. The ideal candidate will have a knack for writing punchy headlines that explain in less characters than a tweet the what, why, and how of market-moving news for traders, but also the ability to do deep dives and data-driven analysis on equities, sectors, and macro trends.
