From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. A Senior Manufacturing Technical Manager in the Leo Customer Terminal Engineering organization will understand customer desires, technology, and business opportunities to design and deliver Customer Terminals to a diverse set of Aviation customers. You understand key problems and analyze multiple solutions working cross functionally to produce the most power efficient, cost effective, technically advanced, lowest cost manufacturing assembly and test, and scalable Customer Terminal available in the market. A Senior Manufacturing Technical Manager provides the global vision, rationale, and recommendations to leadership teams for challenging technical issues related to Customer Terminal manufacturing while working on continually improving manufacturing assembly and test each year. Export Control Requirement: This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government.
