Troubleshoot complex production issues; Applying structured problem‑solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, root cause analysis); Troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, dimensional variation, tool wear, and surface finish problems using structured problem‑solving methods; Ability to trouble shoot and find root cause effectively
Ability to work in a team environment, Ability to manage an open issues list effectively coming to resolution of all issues, Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, Willing to work extended or flexible hours as needed to meet customer requirements, Ability to lift up to a weight of 40 pounds, Ability to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or combination of education and experience, CNC machining and programming (M&G Code, Macro, Siemen’s Controls), robots and automation (Fanuc), CAD and/or CAD viewer experience, good working knowledge of robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls engineering and standard fabrication, Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Manufacturing experience with CNC equipment preferable in a Die Cast environment, Minimum of three years
Nice to Have
Good interpersonal skills, Strong organizational and Leadership skills, Ability to trouble shoot and find root cause effectively, Detail oriented, Excellent time management skills

Support Magna’s operating principles
Comply and enforce operational procedures/policies (Environmental Health and Safety)
Own production line performance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Manage capital projects
Troubleshoot complex production issues
Design and implement tooling
and work holding solutions
Lead machining capability improvements
Troubleshoot machining issues
Develop process documentation
Conduct studies of time and motion
Ensure good communication of customer driven changes
Ensure effective timeline management
Participate in quoting of new products
Develop personal goals in WorkDay
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
