Relocation provided, Travel expected up to 10% of the time, Shifts available: First Shift M-F, Interviews will include a technical assessment, U. S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident (i. e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U. S. as a refugee or granted asylum, Blue’s Standard Background Check, Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation, Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10, 001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training, Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, Prior 8+ years of experience in areas of aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing or similar, Hands on experience with Machining and Spin Forming processes, understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, knowledge of GD&T, written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc), Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships

Nice to Have

Hands on experience with building flight hardware, 10+ year experience in an engineering capacity, including internships, Experience with design, development or production of launch vehicle, spacecraft, or satellites, Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (Creo or CATIA V5), Customer focused with a proven track record to work cooperatively with teams of different skills across large geographic distances, organizational and analytical skills

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.
