What You'll Do.
Lead research program teams to ensure successful system implementation and upgrades.
Oversee the day-to-day operations and resources of research staff.
Support programs for their growth and development.
Conduct meetings with research staff and ensure functions are coordinated in a timely and accurate manner.
Provide technical support and resolve operational problems.
Oversee department budget and identify areas of opportunity for cost reduction.
Assist in the preparation and publication of manuscripts.
Recruit and train research staff.
Prepare performance reports and disciplinary recommendations for the leadership team.

Define and produce indicators for a data visualization platform.
Establish and continuously assess the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with university policies and procedures.
Ensure employees are trained on controls within the function and on university policy and procedures.
Supervise staff and manage and coordinate all aspects of the Feasibility Review Committee (FRC)
Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee (PRMC)
and Data Safety and Monitoring Committee (DSMC) within Sylvester.
Work with Sylvester leadership and the three committee chairs to establish and maintain Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for each committee.
Implement tracking systems to ensure goals established by the committees are met.
Manage and promote the mission of the committees under his/her purview.
Work closely with the respective committee chairs to determine the agendas of each committee.
Monitor the findings of each committee in terms of decisions and commitments.
Ensure that adequate follow-up is undertaken to maximize the productivity of each committee.
Work with CRS informatics team to ensure appropriate reports are run in advance of the meetings of the various research committees.
