What They're Looking For.
Must Have
University degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline, Designated valuation specialist (AACI, MRICS, MAI, etc.), At least 10 years of experience in real estate valuation, Prior management experience leading a team, Demonstrated success partnering with investment professionals
Nice to Have
CFA charterholder preferred, FRM preferred, MAI designation preferred
What You'll Do.
Develop deep expertise of HOOPP’s real estate investment
Lead a team of valuation professionals
Execute the full-cycle appraisal process
Apply technical expertise and market knowledge
Challenge and substantiate valuation results
Oversee reporting deliverables for the Valuation team
Drive continuous improvement of reporting and analytics capabilities
Lead engagement with external auditors
Manage valuation-related requirements
Foster trust and accountability with internal stakeholders
Build and maintain relationships with industry peers
Remain well informed of market activity
Contribute to the evolution of HOOPP’s Real Estate
Drive the consolidation
harmonization and scalability of
Support strategic initiatives to enhance process efficiency
Support strategic initiatives to enhance data insights
Implement AI and BI tools
Coach and mentor team members
Support the Director on strategic priorities
Support the Director on ad hoc initiatives
