Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Lead and coordinate outsourced accounting and CFO-level services for multiple legal industry clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all deliverables. Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, management reports, and regulatory financial documentation. Advise clients on financial strategy, including cash flow management, funding needs, investment decisions, and operational performance improvements. Monitor financial KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting outputs to support informed executive decision-making. Manage client relationships, including regular communication with boards, executives, bankers, and external stakeholders. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring high-quality execution and continuous development of team capabilities. Support business development efforts by contributing to client expansion opportunities and strengthening existing engagements. Ensure effective use of accounting systems and tools (including legal industry platforms such as CLIO) across client environments. Coordinate multiple client portfolios simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to deadlines and service quality. Requirements 6+ years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or outsourced CFO services, ideally within the legal or professional services industry. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a client-facing or multi-entity environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. Experience working with accounting systems and tools, including CLIO or similar legal practice management platforms. Proven ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
