What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5 years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce in a manufacturing, production environment, 4 years of progressive manufacturing production work experience with clear track record of success

Nice to Have

Experience leading large teams in a manufacturing or operations environment, with the ability to scale with business growth, Background in continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) with demonstrated operational impact, Proven ability to navigate change in fast-paced, growing environments, communication skills with the ability to influence and align teams, Collaborative leadership style with experience partnering cross-functionally, experience in the printing industry a plus

What You'll Do.

oversee salaried and hourly employees in a fast-paced

complex manufacturing facility

manage production & sorting throughout the facility

assist with other duties as directed by the Director of Operations

ensure that our distribution centers and manufacturing facilities function at maximum efficiency

develop full knowledge of all aspects of the operation of high-speed digital printers

and trimmers within the Production department

goals and objectives for the management team

build a passionate manufacturing team with a positive

results oriented culture

leverage the flexibility of Lean

Six Sigma and Performance Improvement tools to enhance productivity

set clear goals and expectations for Operations and Area measure performance

and hold leaders accountable

drive continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity to meet and exceed business works on strategic projects that have total building and network-wide impact

effectively leverage the Operations and Area Managers to solicit ideas and understand problems and challenges in the building

provides strategic level/long-term planning (3

and 12 months out) including labor planning

and peak season planning

work closely with support staff (HR

Maintenance Engineering

IT and other leaders) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives

oversee the supervision of the manufacturing area ensuring the timely and accurate movement of materials in and out of the facility

monitor and execute LSI policies and procedures for HR related issues including associate attendance and timekeeping

monitors and reviews associate performance

make hiring recommendations

oversee training and recommend disciplinary measures
