What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 14 years of EHS experience), Minimum of 10 years of EHS experience
Nice to Have
10+ years of experience in union manufacturing environments, Experience managing OSHA 300 Log, Experience in driving plant health and safety programs, oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills, Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, Proven ability to lead programs and projects, Established project management skills, Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs effectively

Oversee the Environmental
and Safety (EHS) function
Manage a team of senior professionals
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Influence organizational policies
Leverage industry trends and best practices
Manage medium to large teams
Provide mentorship and leadership
Foster a culture of continuous improvement
Work closely with upper leadership
Work closely with operations teams
Lead efforts to drive cultural change
Foster a proactive safety culture
Take ownership of EHS Framework Elements
Ensure effective implementation of EHS Framework Elements
Ensure integration of EHS Framework Elements
Develop site-level risk reduction initiatives
Lead site-level risk reduction initiatives
Execute site-level risk reduction initiatives
Improve overall safety performance
Ensure compliance of plant operations
Maintain a deep understanding of site-level EHS requirements
Ensure adherence to GE EHS Framework Elements
Apply skilled knowledge of OSHA regulations
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Drive improvements in workplace safety
Manage EHS incidents effectively
Investigate EHS incidents
Root cause analysis of EHS incidents
Corrective actions for EHS incidents
Reporting of EHS incidents
Embrace GE Aerospace lean system
Drive transformational improvements across EHS
