Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Program Lead, Field Learning to own the strategy, standardisation, and delivery of learning operations across Amazon's Australian network. This role is the central point of accountability for how field learning is designed, governed, and executed across Fulfilment Centres, Sort Centres, Delivery Stations, and On-The-Road operations. You will lead the extension of Learning Manager Standard Work across all miles, ensuring every Learning Manager in the network operates to the same documented processes and benchmark expectations. You will explore and pilot alternative staffing models that enable scalable, sustainable learning coverage as the network grows — reducing reliance on centralised L&D headcount by embedding training capability closer to operations. You will own field learning compliance, driving training completion rates above 90% and reporting outcomes through WBR/MBR mechanisms. You will also lead the expansion of PRM-L (automated permission management based on training certification) to Sort Centres and Last Mile, eliminating manual processes across the remaining network. As PMO Lead for all field learning change initiatives, you will own the change register, govern sequencing and dependencies across concurrent initiatives, and act as the senior escalation point for change concerns from the field. This role reports to the Head of Field Learning, AU Operations. Key job responsibilities - Extend the Learning Manager Standard Work framework from FCs to Sort Centres, Delivery Stations, and OTR operations, ensuring all Learning Managers operate to consistent documented processes and routines across the network. - Explore, design, and pilot alternative staffing models for field learning — including defining selection criteria, capability development pathways, and quality assurance mechanisms — and deliver a recommendation on scalability to senior leadership. - Own field learning compliance across all miles, tracking training completion
