Managing the financial planning process
Managing the profitability of existing and new business operations
Analysis of profitability variances and recommendations for corrective actions
Developing financial and operational objectives
Ensuring operational plans are aligned with business objectives
Contributing to functional strategy development
Managing enterprise wide software agreements
Developing and managing the analysis of actual results against planned objectives
Presenting data in a logical and clear format
Managing the preparation of presentations to management on actual results
Preparing and reviewing budget materials
Analyzing emerging financial trends
Assisting other areas in the preparation of statistical studies
Comparing financial results to planned or forecasted results with variances explained and recommendations for future actions
Analyzing the ongoing profitability of all new businesses and/or programs
Serving as a technical liaison to accounting staff and other departments
Providing financial planning experience
financial information and modeling
Activity analysis and variance analysis
developing and prioritizing workflow for Financial Analysts
Performing and critiquing economic evaluation justifications for expenditures
Interacting with other Finance team members in the preparation and submission of monthly and annual forecast and reports
Supporting senior management in business analysis and strategic initiatives
Leading process improvement initiatives and business metrics development
