What They're Looking For.

Must Have

8+ years of software or cloud/platform engineering experience, 3+ years in engineering management, Deep expertise in AWS (EKS, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, Cost Explorer), IaC tooling (Terraform, CDK, or equivalent), Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries or platform SDKs consumed by multiple teams, Demonstrated ability to define and enforce engineering standards across a large, multi- team organization, FinOps mindset: experience managing and optimizing cloud costs at scale, Strong communicator — able to translate technical topics for both engineers and executives

Nice to Have

Experience building an internal developer platform (IDP) or cell-based / multi-region architecture, Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure (Databricks, SageMaker, Bedrock), AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) or FinOps Foundation (FOCP), Background in consumer IoT, connected devices, or real-time streaming platforms

The Role Arlo is standing up a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) to drive engineering efficiency and ease of adoption across our 400+ person engineering organization.
