This role is going to be the key in defining the robotics automation strategy and footprint for AWS manufacturing, as well as the implementation and scaling of the solutions. The role is also going to drive the continuous improvement efforts related with manufacturing layouts, process designs, assembly and testing procedures and actively working on improvement of productivity, cost reduction and quality improvements. ​​We are looking for a senior engineering leader to build and lead a central pillar of our Supply Chain Operations organization that spans Operations Management, Manufacturing, and Logistics. This team will leverage AWS Product Engineering (EC2, Annapurna, Network) specifications and engineer critical aspects of manufacturing and logistics operations – Process and Material layout design, Automation and Industrial Engineering.
