What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2 years of experience in a maintenance role, Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License, Minimum of two years of clean driving experience, Physical competence to complete strenuous tasks, Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Nice to Have
Experience in the hospitality industry, Certifications in First Aid, Forklift/aerial work platform operation certification, Red Seal or Trade Certification in Refrigeration, Red Seal or Trade Certification in Gas Fitting, Red Seal or Trade Certification in Electrical, Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs, Familiarity using Excel, Familiarity using FileMaker Pro, Familiarity using property management programs

Ensure efficient guest service

Meet AAA 4 & 5 Diamond Standards
Meet service philosophies of the Inn
Perform daily maintenance of guestrooms
Perform daily maintenance of public spaces
Perform landscaping duties
Perform general grounds work
Handle painting projects
Handle carpentry projects
Handle equipment maintenance
Maintain bicycle fleet
Manage furniture restoration
Manage furniture repair
Perform interior building maintenance
Perform exterior building maintenance
Assist in maintaining preventative maintenance program
Work outdoors for a variety of tasks
