What They're Looking For.
Must Have
7+ years of management skills and ability, Proficiency in Lean methodologies and operating system deployment, Ability to organize, prioritize and direct work activities, Experience with ERP systems and process mapping software, General business knowledge required, including specific knowledge of businesses supported, Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills required, Reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills to resolve issues, Project management and change management skills and abilities, Communication skills, both verbal and written, Personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Fluency in the English language
Nice to Have
Master’s degree or equivalent preferred

Lead all aspects of work driving continuous improvement culture and embedding Lean principles across the IDEXX enterprise
Support the IDEXX Excellence System
Drive process optimization and productivity improvements
and sustains Lean transformation strategies aligned with the IDEXX Excellence System
Conducts value stream mapping to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Establishes and monitors KPIs to track continuous improvement efforts
Collaborates with leadership to prioritize improvement opportunities and allocate resources
Manages staff and/or supervisors of the Lean team within Operational Excellence
planning and assigning work
monitoring activities and evaluating performance
Manages escalated/critical issues
Administers employment actions
provides coaching and guidance to staff and promotes staff training and development
Contributes to development of strategy and direction
May coordinate work of outside vendors and contractors

As the **Senior Lean Operations Manager** , you will lead all aspects of work driving continuous improvement culture and embedding Lean principles across the IDEXX enterprise. Managing a team of Lean Leaders, you will be responsible for supporting the IDEXX Excellence System, driving process optimization and productivity improvements. The ideal candidate brings management experience, possesses robust problem-solving skills and has a proven track record of implementing Lean principles within an operating system to achieve measurable results.
