This criteria targets a hybrid Senior DataStage Engineer/Platform Administrator. It emphasizes deep ETL knowledge, Information Server platform architecture, network load balancing, database operations (dsodb/xmeta), user/project administration, and extensive scripting and automation. 1\. Core Platform & Architecture * Platform Buildout & Installation: Proven experience architecting, installing, configuring, and upgrading IBM InfoSphere DataStage (v11.x+) environments. * Network Load Balancing: Deep knowledge of network load balancing and clustering strategies to ensure high availability, horizontal scaling, and failover across DataStage engine tiers and Websphere clustered environments. * Metadata & Repository Knowledge: Advanced SQL querying skills targeted at the Operations Database (dsodb) and Metadata Repository (xmeta DB) for monitoring performance, auditing jobs, and identify stages being used. 2\. DataStage Administration & Security * User Roles & Authorization: Expertise in configuring DataStage user roles, permissions, and group policies using the WebSphere/Information Server Administration Console. * Project Administration: Ability to create, manage, and configure DataStage projects, and handle DataStage server security. 3\.
