What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, Must be local to Indiana or able to support onsite/hybrid requirements as needed, Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management and digital transformation initiatives, Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects or portfolios across multiple business units and stakeholders, Proven experience leading cloud migration efforts, including data warehouse transformation initiatives, knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT systems, and project management methodologies, Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models, Experience managing projects using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms, knowledge of enterprise data platforms, including Oracle, PL/SQL, and modern cloud-based data tools (e. g. , BigQuery, Dataflow, DataStream), Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving, Ability to work with clients to understand their needs, organizational and time-management skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Professional presence
Nice to Have
PMP Certification, Prior experience supporting State of Indiana large-scale software projects, Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end migration of on-premise data warehouses to cloud platforms, Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, Familiarity with modern data architecture and data integration approaches, Experience working in complex, cross-functional, and geographically distributed project environments, relationship management skills with both executive leadership and technical teams, Ability to synthesize and organize highly complex and technical information into actionable insights, Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently, customer and vendor relationship skills, Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies, Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value, Past experience working with a state/local government agency
