What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10 years’ experience in the engineering design of industrial control systems, instrumentation, control logic, PLC, SCADA, DCS based control systems, control systems documentation, Experience in executing I&C Design projects, support the Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Mission Critical and other related industries, develop controls architecture, instrumentation and valve specification, industrial networking, panel design, automation system development, Instrumentation and control system engineering design for industrial, manufacturing, and utilities projects, calculations for flow meters, analyzers, transmitters, and other field, area classification and mitigation strategies, control system studies, troubleshooting existing control systems, new system conceptual design, control system retrofits, Develop controls/instrumentation engineering documentation, detailed instrument specifications and selection, logic diagrams, loop sheets, instrument lists, I/O lists, instrumentation plan drawings, Supervise and coordinating instrumentation/controls engineering/design efforts, multi-discipline engineering projects, Provide occasional Field support, on-site design or technical queries, Provide training and mentoring of junior level instrumentation/controls engineers and designers, industrial codes and standards, ISA, NFPA, NEC, UL508A, IEEE, read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, electrical drawings
Nice to Have
SPI / InTools, cost estimating (engineering and capital costs), proposal development, marketing, business development efforts for I&C projects, supervising engineers, designers, and drafters, Safety Integrated System experience, ISA/IEC 61511 SIL Specialist Certificate
