Must Have
Over 10 years of experience in the Facilities & Construction Category, A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing, Experience managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently, Ability to work with minimal supervision, Project management skills, Effective Communication skills, Negotiation skills, Analytical skills, Advanced Skills in materials cost structure and analysis
Nice to Have
Prior experience working in indirect category management at a semiconductor company, Experience working with Ariba, Experience working with SAP, Experience working with SCOUT
What You'll Do.
Implement processes to monitor customer satisfaction with key
Recommend targets to maximize value
Analyze sourcing trends
Make recommendations for assigned categories
Participate in supplier segmentation
Participate in strategic goal-setting
Develop category strategies for managed categories
Validate strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s
Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers
Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets
Provide market intelligence and category price trends
Utilize should-cost models for assigned categories
Lead negotiations for contract extensions and renewals
Participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals
Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation
Incorporate savings targets into negotiations
Incorporate contract requirements into negotiations
Develop a contract strategy for suppliers
Create contracted terms and conditions
Negotiate contracted terms and conditions
Monitor contracted terms and conditions
Enforce contracted terms and conditions
Conduct strategic sourcing initiatives
Conduct cost management
Collaborate with Customers to Deliver Strategic Solutions
Develop and maintain expertise in assigned spend categories
