Amazon seeks a talented finance professional to work with its AWS Corporate Development organization. The person in this high-visibility role will be responsible for helping to evaluate a wide range of AWS opportunities, including M&A, investments, and other strategic partnership opportunities. The person in this position will also assist in due diligence and conduct extensive industry research. This position plays a key, active role on a small team that drives corporate transactions across AWS businesses. Many assignments will be highly ambiguous and require an independent, intellectually curious individual who can frame situations through multiple lenses including of the end-customer, business owner, and corporate finance professional. Key job responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships - Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate business opportunities across technology sectors - Research and analyze emerging technology trends, market dynamics, and potential investment targets - Prepare detailed presentations and recommendations for senior management and executive leadership - Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making processes A day in the life Your day will be a blend of strategic analysis, collaborative problem-solving, and high-impact financial exploration.
